Trinitas Film, the official streaming platform of Romanian Patriarchate Television, was launched on Thursday, in the Aula Magna “Teoctist Patriarch” of the Patriarchate Palace. According to the organizers, it is the first streaming platform dedicated to Orthodox Christian content in the world.

The platform offers access to an archive of audiovisual productions made in recent years, with religious, cultural and educational content, notes basilica.ro, the news site of the Romanian Patriarchate.

The archive of Patriarchate Television currently includes over 150 films made in HD format. The content is organized into two main sections: Trinitas Film, which includes documentary and thematic productions, and Trinitas Live, dedicated to Trinitas TV's live broadcasts.

The catalog is structured by thematic categories such as monasteries and hermitages, the history of the Romanian Patriarchate, the Holy Land, saints of Orthodoxy, Orthodoxy and society, priests and confessors, the National Cathedral, cultural heritage and Romanian personalities.

The platform includes features such as automatic replay, saving favorite movies, personalized recommendations and the ability to play audio with the screen closed, including for live broadcasts.

Access to the content is achieved through a mixed model: more than half of the materials are available for free, after creating an account, and the rest can be accessed by subscription, worth 2 euros per month. According to Trinitas TV representatives, this model is intended to support the production of new content and the development of the platform.

The platform is available online as well as through dedicated apps for mobile devices with Android and iOS operating systems, and will be extended to smart TVs.
