There are no reasons to stop the construction of the metrotram in Krasnoyarsk; work is currently ongoing. This was announced to TASS by the regional state-owned enterprise Transport Logistics Center (CTL).
Information about a possible suspension of work due to lack of money to pay for materials and obligations already fulfilled appeared nyesterday in local media and Telegram channels with reference to an alleged letter from the management of Bamtonnelstroy-Krasnoyarsk to the parent company, Bamtonnelstroy-Most.
However, the construction customer denied this.
“Construction of the metro in Krasnoyarsk continues. There are no reasons to stop work. The Krasnoyarsk Territory, as the customer of the project, fully fulfills its financial obligations. Funds to the general contractor, the Mosproekt-3 company, are received on time. Of the 23 stages of the project, documentation for 21 stages passed the state examination and was issued to builders to carry out the work,” CTL reported.
The current situation there was explained by the fact that Sometimes disagreements arise between the general contractor and various subcontractors.
“In this case, one of the companies refuses to present certificates for the work performed for payment, because it does not agree with their cost. The general contractor is working to resolve this situation,” CTL said, explaining that we are talking about Bamtonnelstroy-Krasnoyarsk.
The companies themselves refused to comment to journalists.
Let us remind you that the construction of the first stage of the Krasnoyarsk metro is planned to be completed in 2026. The length of the line will be 10.8 km and will include six stopping points: “Vysotnaya”, “Kopylova Street”, “Vokzalnaya”, “Revolution Square”, “Karl Marx Street” and “Shakhterov Street”.
