

According to him, the Stepanovskaya, Sumy, Belopolskaya, Velikopisarevskaya, Kamyshanskaya and Nikolaevskaya rural communities were under attack.
“Some of the drones were destroyed by the defense forces, but the enemy is actively using them again and again,” Grigorov wrote.
He said that there were three dead – a 40-year-old man in the Nikolaevskaya community, a 65-year-old in Velikopisarevskaya and a 66-year-old man in the Belopolskaya community.
In addition, two more residents of the region were injured from Russian strikes, added the head of the Sumy OVA.
“Destruction and damage to civilian infrastructure have been recorded. Enemy attacks continue,” Grigorov emphasized.
Context
The occupiers tried to seize the Sumy region back in 2022, but then they were forced out. In 2025, the Russians attack the Ukrainian region again, targeting infrastructure and civilians.
