Borussia supporters Dortmund they took advantage of his visit Villarreal on the “Signal Iduna Park” (4-0 to the Germans) to display a message on their famous stand, the “Yellow Wall” against the Spanish Football League.

The reason? Germans are outraged by the Spanish League's intention to stage LaLiga matches abroad.

The choice of the opponent was not random. The “Yellow Submarine” was one of the teams involved in the match against Barcelona that LaLiga wanted to play in Miami. However, the plan was later cancelled.

Borussia Dortmund fans have offended the Spanish League

The German fans' message was displayed in two parts. First, in English, it could be read: “Home is where your heart is. Against all away matches“.

However, the most offensive part came immediately after, in Spanish, addressed to the Spanish league and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF): “M*** LaLiga, m*** RFEF!”.

LaLiga and Serie A have no intention of giving up

To date, the Bundesliga has shown no interest in taking its league matches outside of Germany. LaLiga and Serie A are the two major European leagues that have moved forward with this initiative.

In the case of Spain, the plan will have to wait at least another season, but LaLiga president Javier Tebas has already guaranteed he will not abandon the idea, having recently met with the Spanish Football Association (AFE) to try to reach an agreement.

For its part, the Italian league maintains, for now, the intention to organize the match between Como and AC Milan in Australia, even during the current season.

Villarreal were beaten by Borussia Dortmund and remain without a win in this edition of the Champions League, having only one point after the first 5 legs. Guirassy opened the scoring in the 45+2 minute and doubled the home side's lead in the 54th minute, scoring immediately after missing a penalty kick. With just 4 minutes to go, the 'Yellow Submarine' were down to 10 men after Foyth was sent off.

Adeyemi made the score 3-0 in the 58th minute, and Svensson closed the score in the 90th+5th minute. In the 82nd minute, Dortmund missed another penalty kick, through Fabio Silva.
