Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a direct line, spoke about scammers who deceive Russians.
The Russian leader called on citizens to immediately hang up if they try to start a conversation about money.
“As soon as they start talking about money and some property. Hang up immediately, immediately,” Putin said.
“The number of crimes of this kind has decreased by 7%, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and damage by 33%,” he said.
The President emphasized that the dynamics are positive. At the same time, he called on citizens to remember that fraud has not gone away and attackers will improve their tools as they become more complex and the possibility of using various technical means to solve the current problems of the country’s residents increases.
