Teachers of private schools and schools at universities will be able to receive state awards of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This decision was made at a session of the Legislative Assembly of the region.
According to the current legislation, only teachers of state and municipal schools received regional awards for training winners and prize-winners of Olympiads. At the same time, the region has strong private educational organizations and schools at universities, whose students also show high results in all-Russian competitions.
“For a unified and fair approach to rewarding teaching staff, the draft law proposes to expand the categories of specialists who can qualify for the award,” explained Vera Oskina, chairman of the parliamentary committee on education and culture.
