The Rabla Auto 2025 program will start very late compared to previous years, the session for individuals to be opened on June 19, announces the Administration of the Environment Fund. The value of the ecotichet for full-electric cars increases and, for the first time, Diesel cars can no longer be bought.
The Administration of the Environment Fund announces the launch of the registration session within the Rabla Auto 2025 program. The session dedicated to administrative-territorial units and public institutions will debut on June 4, at 10:00, and the Rabla session will start on June 9, at 10:00. Both sessions will remain open until November 27 or until the allocated budget is exhausted.
The value of ecoticchets granted within the Rabla Auto program is as follows:
- 37,000 lei for the purchase of a new pure electric vehicle or with hydrogen combustion pile;
- 15,000 lei for a hybrid plug-in vehicle or an electric motorcycle;
- 12,000 lei for a new vehicle with hybrid propulsion system;
- 10,000 lei for a new vehicle with thermal engine (gasoline, LPG/GNC) or a motorcycle;
- 120,000 lei for the purchase of a new hybrid or pure electric vehicle by public institutions and UATs.
Within this program, it is not allowed to finance the purchase of diesel fuel vehicles, to encourage the use of more environmentally friendly technologies.
For natural persons, the amount allocated to the registration session is: 210 million lei for the purchase of new vehicles with thermal propulsion systems (with internal burning, including LPG/GNC engine) or motorcycles and vehicles with hybrid propulsion system;
400 million lei is the budget for the purchase of new hybrid plug-in vehicles or electric motorcycles and pure electric vehicles or with hydrogen combustion pile.
For public institutions and administrative-territorial units, the amount allocated to the registration session is:
- 30 million lei for the purchase of new vehicles with a hybrid propulsion system;
- 120 million lei for the purchase of new hybrid or pure electric vehicles.
The program, saying AFM, offers a simplified procedure and quick access to financing, the applicants registering directly in the computer application available on the AFM website.
Through this program, local administrations and public institutions can access significant funds to renew the car park, without the obligation to get old vehicles. Public UATs and institutions can request up to 25 eco-editors, without intermediaries, by direct registration in the computer application available on the website www.afm.ro.
Since the debut of Rabla programs in Romania, 20 years ago, over 1 million old vehicles have been removed.
