On Sunday, Vitinha scored a goal in Inter's goal, and on Monday he was in a state of shock: a tragedy marked the striker of Dan Șucu, who lost his two grandsons, aged 3 and 5, in the explosion in Trévoux, a French town in the Ain region.
The accident was caused by the suicide of a tenant in the building, who had decided to open the gas taps in her apartment to end her life. Unfortunately, however, the explosion extended far beyond the woman's home and, in addition to killing the two children, injured 12 other people.
“My family is in mourning“, wrote number 9 rossoblu in an Instagram story. “My cousin Bruno lost his children in a tragedy in France”, adding a link to a fundraiser.
In recent days, Vitinha has been training normally ahead of Sunday's match at the Ferraris Stadium against Atalanta.
