280 illegal structures were dismantled by owners in the Leninsky district of Krasnoyarsk. This was reported to the mayor's office.
These are mainly pavilions, shell garages, old sheds and vegetable storage facilities. They were removed from Energetikov Street, 2nd Krasnoflotskaya, Volgogradskaya, 52nd Quarter, Shevchenko and Lvovskaya. Some of them were built illegally, while others did not have documents for the owners. As for retail outlets, those that sold alcohol illegally were demolished.
“We pay special attention to emergency facilities that are dangerous for people. For example, underground vegetable storage facilities on Volzhskaya, 33 were built in the last century. Many have already begun to crumble. There are residential buildings and schools nearby. 79 buildings were demolished to avoid a tragedy,” said Dmitry Guryev, head of the Leninsky district administration.
In total, 466 objects have been demolished in the Leninsky district since the beginning of the year. Before dismantling them, the owners were given the opportunity to remove the objects themselves. 280 people took advantage of this right. 186 objects had to be demolished at the expense of budget funds. Costs will be recovered from the owners through the court.
