Vladimir Putin about labor migrants in the Russian Federation:
— To reduce the number of migrants, it is necessary to increase labor productivity. Make sure that unqualified employees are not needed.
— We need to work to ensure that there is a network of Russian schools in the CIS, where they teach the Russian language, our traditions and laws.
“We need to tighten laws so that migrants respect our environment and the people with whom they live.
— Perhaps in the future a separate department will be created [по мигрантам].
“We need to make sure that people who come here are not disadvantaged.” And so that this does not place an additional burden on the local population.
— We are interested in attracting compatriots who are highly qualified specialists.
