The coach of the Dinamo football team, Zeljko Kopic, said in a press conference on Thursday that he is still happy with the victory in the previous stage in the derby with FCSB, but stressed that at this moment the concentration and players is on the match with Metaloglobus, Agerpres informs.
“The players are happy, the supporters are the same, there is another energy in the club after the victory in the derby. We are happy that we have managed to enjoy the supporters after a long time without victory with FCSB. Now we are preparing for the confrontation with Metaloglobus and we know that we are waiting for a new match. We are sure that we are happy with the victory with FCSB, but now the concentration is only on the match with Metaloglobus, ”said the technician.
“At a club like Dinamo it is normal for everyone to be worried, and we have had difficult times in the past seasons, and when you win for sure the expectations of everyone are growing,” added Zeljko Kopic.
The Croatian coach hopes Danny Armstrong will stay with the “feet on the ground” after the hattrick in the FCSB derby and work as much.
“For Armstrong it was like a dream … to come to Romania and at the first derby to score three goals. So of course it is an extraordinary moment. I talked to him and I told him that he was standing on the ground and working. Now sure the expectations are getting higher and he can handle this, but I believe it.
The Dinamo football team meets the Metaloglobus band, on Friday, from 9:30 pm, on Clinceni Arena in Clinceni, in a match counting for the 5th stage.
