Napoli are facing big problems due to injuries

Antonio Conte has a long list of unavailability for the Italian Super Cup. Alex Meret, the starting goalkeeper for the past few seasons, is still absent, and he is joined by Frank Anguissa, Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Billy Gilmour.

On the other hand, AC Milan will not be able to rely on Matteo Gabbia and Santiago Gimenez for this match. Moreover, the star Rafael Leao is also uncertain for this match, after he missed the previous stage of Serie A, where AC Milan drew at home with the newly promoted Sassuolo, score 2-2.

The last direct meeting took place in Serie A on September 28. AC Milan, the host of that match, won 2-1 thanks to goals scored by Saelemaekers and Christian Pulisic in the first half. Estupinan was sent off in the 57th minute, and Kevin De Bruyne reduced the difference in the 60th minute, from the penalty spot. However, Napoli could not take advantage of the numerical superiority, and the match ended with the victory of the Milanese.

In Serie A, the two teams are in the top 3. AC Milan is in 2nd place with 32 points, one behind leaders Inter and one ahead of Napoli.
