“We are even more loved in the country!”

FCSB started the new Cup season right. The Red-Blues led 2-0 at half-time, then conceded a goal and lived dangerously against the second division, but eventually prevailed with two goals, with Alexandru Stoian scoring after being thrown into the fray.
At the end, on the lawn, in a kind of improvised “mixed zone”, Florin Tănase and Mamadou Thiam answered the questions asked by the GSP reporter. To begin with, the dialogue with the champion's decar.
Florin Tănase: “We are even more loved in the country”
– Three points on debut in this Cup season. How would you describe the game?
– Three important points, we had to win. It's good that we got the 3 points and now we focus on the championship game.
– How did you feel about the people from Bistrita, a little aggressive?
– No, no. They played a very good match, we congratulate them. They gave everything. I didn't feel they were aggressive, they played like football.
– Has the lawn caused any problems? You kept slipping throughout the match.
– It is clear that the turf was not in the best condition, but we have played on worse pitches.
– How was the atmosphere? It was the first match played here at night in 12 years.
– It is clear that people were eager to have a match at night. But we were also opponents, it was clear that the stadium was filling up. They deserve it, they are football lovers and they deserve a team in the first league.
– Do you feel as loved in the country as in Bucharest?
– Yes, even more lovers.
Mamadou Thiam: “We have to accept that there are changes here”
Mamadou Thiam, scorer in the 45th minute, was replaced at halftime. Even so, he claims that he was not disappointed by this decision.
– How did you feel here, in Bistrita?
– It was very difficult, because the field was not very good, but it is good that we managed to win.
– It's OK David [Miculescu]? You mentioned the ground was slippery.
– Yes, it was a very complicated field. I didn't notice it in the warm-up, but when the game started I realized it was going to be difficult on this pitch. But as I said, the most important thing is that we won today. We are very happy we did.
– A bit disappointed that you were substituted at half-time, even though you scored?
– No, the batch is large. There are changes, we have to accept that and move on.
– Do you plan to score against your former team at the weekend?
– It will be a special match for me, because everyone knows how much I love Cluj. I can't wait for Saturday.
– How was the atmosphere?
– It was a nice atmosphere, the stadium was full. I was surprised, but it's always like that when FCSB plays in the country. It's nice to see.
