The President of AUR, George Simion, announced, on Tuesday evening, at the end of the meeting of the National Leadership Council, the launch of the political Manifesto “Total opposition – national opposition”, through which the party assumes an open confrontation with the Bolojan government. The formation announces the start of a firm, consistent and uncompromising opposition, with the declared objective of provoking early parliamentary elections, informs News.ro.
According to the manifesto, the AUR believes that “Romania is going through a serious democratic rupture, in which the Parliament is emptied of its role, the Government leads by repeated assumption of responsibility, and the economic and social crisis is amplified by the incompetence of the government”.
In this context, the formation announces the start of a firm, consistent and uncompromising opposition, with the declared objective of provoking early parliamentary elections.

“In the coming period, AUR deputies and senators will resort to direct parliamentary pressure on the governing coalition. Supporting and initiating simple motions against ministers, as well as launching motions of censure against the Government, are the tools announced by the largest opposition party,” AUR states.
