A local policeman from District 1 of the Capital died on Tuesday after jumping from a crane.
Before resorting to the extreme gesture, the man inflicted several wounds on his body with a knife. Police and ambulance crews intervened on the scene, but the resuscitation maneuvers were not successful, and the death was declared.
“The police rushed to the scene and found that the issues reported it is confirmed, being a 42-year-old man. Also, despite the efforts made, the medical personnel who arrived at the scene declared the death of the man. The lifeless body is to be transported to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine, in order to carry out the necropsy”according to the Bucharest City Police.
The case will be taken over by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest Court, together with the Homicide Service, to accurately establish the circumstances and continue the investigations.
