The winners of the regional festival of amateur creativity “The House in which Hearts Open” were awarded in Krasnoyarsk. The competition within the framework of the event is held among citizens living in psychoneurological boarding schools and boarding homes. 183 applications were submitted, 57 of them became winners and runners-up and were included in the final concert program.
This year the competition is dedicated to the Year of Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
“Among the competition works were poems, songs and musical compositions about the war, about the courage of the defenders of the Fatherland, and arts and crafts,” said the region’s Ministry of Social Policy.
Before the gala concert, master classes were held for the event participants, and everyone played curling at sports locations. At the exhibition of arts and crafts, one could get acquainted with the competition works, vote for the one they liked, and thus determine the best in the new nomination of the year – “Audience Award”.
All festival winners were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
Let us remind you that the festival “The House in which Hearts Open” has been taking place in the region since 2011. The organizers are the Ministry of Social Policy of the region and the Resource and Methodological Center for the Social Protection System. The purpose of the event is to expand the space for communication between boarding houses and provide an opportunity to show their talent in creative activities.
