Students from all over Russia took part in the 48-hour hackathon in Nizhny Novgorod

September 22 in Nizhny Novgorod ended with Hakaton for IT specialists as part of the Impulse T1 conference.
Almost 300 students from different cities of Russia took part in the competition: for 48 hours they worked on the applied solutions of two business cases, and in the final presented their developments to the expert jury.
In the framework of IT conservation, experts solved practical-oriented tasks related to front-end and under development, testing, system analysis and other important ITs. The first case was dedicated to the creation of a tool capable of tracking the performance of sites and instantaneous to warn about failures. The second case was focused on the HR display and set the task for students to develop a personal II assistant who would offer employees career routes and help recruiters look for talents within the company on smart filters.
In the decision of the first case, students from the universities of Innopolis (Nikita Maksimenko and Karina Sinyatullina) and UrFU (Lev Lezhnin) won the victory. In second place was a team from Moscow and Krasnodar, consisting of both MTUSI students (Maxim Kucheryvenko) and from novice specialists (Vladislav Melnichuk, Daniil Shulkin, Artem Petrunin). The third place was won by students from NSU (Vladimir Balandin and Sergey Svistukhin) and MIREA (Anton Komarov).
The best solution for the HR Case was presented by students of SamSTU-Roman Guskov, Danila Petrukhin, Ivan Klimov, Daniil Artemenko. The second place was taken by the guys from Nizhny Novgorod and Yekaterinburg – students of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Higher School of Economics (Daniil Mikhailenko and Denis Nikoshin) and UrFU (Daniil Dukhanin). The third place went to MTUSI students: Vera Petrosyan, Ales Moseva, Vasily Kudryavtsev, Andrey Sopov, Katerina Yunosheva.
The competition in Nizhny Novgorod was the first of 5 hackathons at the IT conference. Competitions will also be in 4 cities: Yekaterinburg, Minsk, Novosibirsk and Moscow. The pulse T1 is the already traditional series of annual industry conferences that organizes the IT Holding T1. Hakatons have become an important part of the forum and a platform for the exchange of experience and finding non -standard solutions. The total prize fund of hackathons is about 4 million rubles.
