No contraband was detected on the remains of the drone found on Sunday in the forest in Żelizna, the police said. The remains were located far from homes. The Internal Security Agency and the Military Counterintelligence Service were notified about the case.

On Sunday around 13, a man while walking in the forest in Żelizna (Radzyński County, Lublin Voivodeship) noticed parts of an object resembling a drone. The police found a crashed drone, a Styrofoam casing and an engine at the scene.
Everything indicates that this is not a smuggling drone. No contraband was found, the superintendent told PAP. Anna Kamola from the press team of the KWP in Lublin. She added that the remains were discovered “deep in the forest, far from residential buildings.”
In addition to the Military Police and the District Prosecutor's Office in Radzyń Podlaski, the police notified the Internal Security Agency and the Military Counterintelligence Service about the find.
The spokesman for the Military Police Branch in Lublin, Major Damian Stanula, informed that an investigation team went to the site and, together with the police, secured the area of the incident, the remains and conducted an examination. He added that the case will be transferred to the military affairs department of the District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin, which will carry out further procedural activities.
On the night of September 9-10 this year. Polish airspace was repeatedly violated by drones during the night attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine. The drones, which posed a direct threat, were shot down by Polish and allied air forces. In Wyryki-Wola (Lublin Voivodeship), the roof of a residential house was destroyed and a passenger car was damaged. The prosecutor's office is investigating this case. (PAP)
