Three Poles released by Israel. Radosław Sikorski spoke


The humanitarian convoy, under which the global Sumud (GSF) flotilla operated, was intercepted by the Israeli Navy on Wednesday night to Thursday in international waters. In total, 42 ships were detained, and crews, with about 470 people from 47 countries, were brought to Israel.

Among the detainees were three Poles: MP of the Civic Coalition Franciszek Sterczewski, Omar Faris, president of the Association of Social and Cultural Polish Palestinians, and Nina Ptak, president of the Nomada Association.

On Monday, Sikorski informed on the X platform: “Our citizens landed safely in Athens. Thank you to our diplomats and consular services for efficient action.”

Earlier on the same day, the Global Movement initiative to Gaza Poland said that according to her information, three Poles were to leave the prison and be transported to the Third Country, which Greece was ultimately.
