The hearing was also attended by the representative of the National Council of the Judiciary, attorney Bartosz Lewandowski, and the president of the Constitutional Tribunal. The next dates, set for November 3, were to be used to continue the activities, but Hołownia did not appear at the prosecutor's office, explaining his absence, among others, visit to Ethiopia and the belief that he does not have to answer questions from representatives of the National Council of the Judiciary and the Constitutional Tribunal, who, in his opinion, are not the injured parties.

Despite the lack of appearance, the prosecutor's office maintains the need for a supplementary hearing, which is also to include answers to questions about the status of the victims in the case. The previously set dates – December 12 and 17 – were supposed to be an opportunity to clarify the testimony, but the personal and business circumstances of the Speaker of the Sejm suspend the continuation of the activities.

As the spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, Prosecutor Antoni Skiba, told PAP today, Hołownia's hearing will not take place in the coming days.. The reason is his duties in the Sejm and stay in the United States. The prosecutor's office is planning set a new date for the hearing at the turn of January and February, after obtaining information about the schedule of the Sejm's work.
The spokesman emphasized that the prosecutor's office still believes that it is necessary to conduct a supplementary hearing of the Speaker of the Sejm, including answering questions from representatives of the Constitutional Tribunal and the National Council of the Judiciary. The absence in November was considered justified in this case, taking into account Hołownia's official duties.
The investigation is being conducted by the Deputy Prosecutor General, Prosecutor Michał Ostrowski, and on February 27 this year, supervision was taken over by the Warsaw District Prosecutor's Office. The activities undertaken so far are aimed at establishing the facts and verifying whether there have been any attempts to violate the constitutional order of the state by the highest authorities.
