In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a local Kozul police officer took four women from the highway who were stuck there in 39-degree frost in a broken Toyota car.

It all happened on the night of December 10th. The victims were driving from Nazarov to the airport and at 701 km of the R-255 Siberia highway the car stalled. The women reported the incident to first responders. “112” and nand the senior district representative of the Kozulskoye Department of Internal Affairs, Vadim Korostelev, hastened to help them.

“The police major transferred the freezing citizens into a company car to keep them warm, and he tried to start their car, but to no avail. Then the police officer put two women on a passing vehicle to the airport, and took the other two to the nearest cafe, where they waited for a relative,” said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Police officers urge residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory to follow safety rules when traveling on country roads and carefully prepare for long trips: check the serviceability of the vehicle, fill the tank, charge the phone, take warm clothes, hot tea, as well as a supply of food and matches.
