Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting of the Council for Civil Society and Human Rights, once again assured that “Russia will achieve all the goals of the special military operation”. As he said, the Kremlin intends to bring the almost four-year-long war against Ukraine to its “logical end.”
During his speech, the Russian leader repeated propaganda theses about the alleged belonging of the occupied territories to Russia. “Donbas is Russian territory, that's a historical fact.” – he argued. Putin said that the occupied lands were “recovered territories” for the Kremlin, adding: “Territories are important. These are reclaimed lands, our historic land. “Russia was created in such a way that it was always part of Russia.”
