A resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was sentenced to 5.5 years for calling for attacks on Russian cities by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The 2nd Eastern District Military Court found a resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory guilty of public calls for terrorist and extremist activities.

According to the case file, the man posted a comment in the pro-Ukrainian news community on the Telegram messenger calling for attacks on residential buildings in Belgorod. In another message on the same channel, he called for the killing of military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces.
The court found that these actions were committed on the basis of a negative attitude towards the current government and the ongoing special military operation.
Based on the totality of the crimes, he was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months of imprisonment in a general regime colony. The court also banned him for three years from engaging in activities related to the publication of materials or the administration of Internet resources.
The verdict has not yet entered into legal force and can be appealed.
