The number of foreigners working in Poland at the end of June 2025 was 1,099.5 thousand. people, by 6.5 percent more y/y – the Central Statistical Office reported. Compared to the previous month, their number increased by 2.9%.

At the end of June, the share of foreigners in the total number of people performing work was 6.6%.

As of June 30, 2025, there were 422.2 thousand foreigners working there. people carried out only mandate contracts and related contracts. It was by 7.1 percent. more than in June 2024 and 4.2 percent more than a month earlier.

The largest group of foreigners working in Poland were citizens of Ukraine. As of June 30, 2025, there were 735.1 thousand of them, i.e. 5.2 percent. more than in the same month of the previous year and more by 3.0%. than in May 2025

Ukrainian citizens constituted 66.9% of the total number of foreigners performing work
in Poland. Their share decreased compared to June 2024 by 0.7 percentage points. and increased by 0.1 percentage points. compared to May 2025

Central Statistical Office

In the analyzed population of foreigners, the majority were men – their share was 59.7% – the same as a year earlier and 0.2 percentage points less than at the end of May 2025.

Compared to June 2024, the number of both women and men among foreigners working increased by 6.5%. Compared to May 31, 2025, the number of women increased by 3.3% and the number of men by 2.6%.

As of June 30, 2025. among foreigners performing work 422.2 thousand people carried out only mandate contracts and related contracts. This was 7.1% more than in June 2024 and 4.2% more than the month before.

On the last day of June 2025, every fifth foreigner working in Poland lived in the region Warsaw capital city (20.0%). However, as in the whole of 2024 and in the previous month, the least of the analyzed group of foreigners lived in the region Świętokrzyskie (less than 1.0%)
