The resumption of the Rabla program for natural persons, currently suspended, “should not be delayed more than September 1,” said Diana Buzoianu on Sunday evening.

Buzoianu had announced this week that the Rabla program for natural persons will be launched “in the next period”, with a budget of 200 million lei, three times smaller than the one proposed in June, when it should have started.

The Minister of the Environment said on Sunday night on TVR, that “part of the Rabla program was saved”, but the value of the vouchers for electric cars will be lowered, which was 37,000 lei:

“We have the vouchers for thermal, for hybrid, which are relatively small, there will not change the value of the voucher, on the other hand, for the electric cars, where the value of the vocoers was 37,000 lei, it is a voucher that the state budget simply does not support, we will have to make some adjustments to descend.”

Diana Buzoianu said that the program will be launched as soon as the program 2 of the Government fiscal measures will be completed, which will also establish the new budget.

“We will make a simple modification, by order, to the Guide for the Rabla program, the one with the modification of the value. So this will be a relatively easy change in practice. Nothing technical from the platform will be modified (…)

Asked if the program could start on September 1, Diana Buzoianu said: “Yes, I don't see why it would be late, yes.”

The values of the vouchers will be:

-10,000 lei for gasoline car

-12,000 lei for the hybrid car

For electric cars the value is still in discussions, “it is certain that there will be no 37,000 lei.”
