President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Monday that he had invited Polish President Karol Nawrocki to visit Ukraine. He also assured that he would visit Poland himself when he received an invitation from the Polish head of state. He emphasized that this was important to him and expressed his gratitude to Poland for its help and support.

“As for the president of Poland, I would be happy to meet him. I invited him and said: please choose any date. Whatever date you choose, I will be happy to meet you. (…) I need a date and then if the president (Nawrocki) – officially or unofficially, as he wants – invites and proposes a date, of course I will come on an official visit to Poland. This is important to me,” Zelensky said, answering journalists' questions on WhatsApp.
