The Minister of the Environment, called by AUR in Parliament for explanations about the “administrative disaster” in Paltinu

The AUR parliamentary group requested the presence of the Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, in the plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies, on Monday, during Government Hour, to provide explanations regarding the situation in Paltinu.

The topic of the debate is entitled “The administrative disaster from the Paltinu reservoir: violations of public health norms, national energy risk and the responsibility of the Ministry of the Environment in managing a crisis out of control”.

The Permanent Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies approved the program of the debate, which will take place on Monday, starting at 4:00 p.m., according to News.ro.

According to AUR's request, the minister is called to clarify how the institution she leads managed the situation, accusing violations of public health norms and a potential energy risk at the national level.

Diana Buzoianu is to answer the parliamentarians' questions and present the position of the Ministry of the Environment regarding this crisis.

The situation in Prahova is still serious. However, after a week without drinking water in 13 localities in Prahova, the Public Health Directorate confirms that the water treated at the Voila station complies with potability parameters. The next step: checking the samples from the distribution network, which has been emptied and refilled in recent days.
