Claudiu Rotar, financier of the FC Hermannstadt club, announced that the Sibiu team will have a new coach at the game with Craiova University, scheduled for Sunday, from 20:30.
After parting with Marius Măldărășanu, the interim was provided by the “second” Valentin Negru, but the defeat suffered against U Cluj, score 0-3, made the leaders intensify the search for a replacement.
“This is football, we have nothing to do. There is nothing to comment on. We have to appoint a coach and move on. We have not made a decision yet, these days are to come. Vali Negru will not remain as an interim, at the match with Craiova there will be a new coach”, said Rotar, according to iamsport.ro.
FC Hermannstadt is in 15th place in the SuperLiga standings, penultimate, with only 12 points after 19 rounds. Marius Măldărășanu had led the group from Sibiu for the last four and a half years.
