In Zelenogorsk, local police officers stopped the illegal sale of alcoholic beverages at night. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region spoke about this.
Law enforcement officers came to check one of the grocery stores after citizens complained about the night trade in alcohol. To avoid liability for violations of the rules for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages, the entrepreneur tried to convince law enforcement officers that he was providing catering services. However, the room was not equipped to receive guests.
In the actions of the head of the outlet they saw signs of an administrative offense under Part 3 of Art. 14.16 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The sanction of the article provides for the imposition of an administrative fine on officials in the amount of 20 to 40 thousand rubles with or without confiscation of alcoholic and alcohol-containing products; for legal entities – from 100 to 300 thousand rubles with or without confiscation of alcohol and alcohol-containing products.
At the moment, the illegal sale of alcohol after 23:00 is suspended. The inspection materials were sent to the court for a legal decision.
