In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the results of the use of sports certificates for the older generation for the first half of 2026 were summed up. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Sports.
During this time, 1,263 residents of the region used the certificates. The most popular activities were free swimming and group water aerobics classes. Most often, participants visited swimming pools in Bogotol, Zelenogorsk, Krasnoyarsk and Norilsk. The share of classes in swimming pools was 86% of all certificates used.
Another 14% of participants chose group classes at sports facilities in Krasnoyarsk, Lesosibirsk and Nazarovo.
The program operates within the framework of the “Siberian Longevity” movement. Senior residents can choose from group fitness classes, yoga, Pilates, water aerobics or free swimming. The goal of the program is to help older people develop the habit of regular physical exercise and stay active longer.
Certificates received in the first half of the year are valid until June 30. The second phase of issuance will begin in August 2026. Until September 1, the regional Ministry of Sports is accepting applications from organizations and entrepreneurs who are ready to conduct group physical education classes or provide the opportunity for independent swimming.
