Ciprian Ciucu is anti-Becali. The declaration of the new general mayor who puts him in anger fills the FCSB boss

The liberal Ciprian Ciucu (47 years old), the mayor of Sector 6, won the Capital City Hall on Sunday, where he will have a mandate of two and a half years, being the only candidate who passed 200,000 votes. The podium was completed by Anca Alexandrescu (AUR) and Daniel Băluță (PSD). In the election campaign, the new mayor showed his motor skills by throwing the ball at the basketball hoop and presented the policies he wants to implement in sports.

More than three years ago, Ciucu caused a ruckus between CSA Steaua fans and FCSB fans, with a message posted on the Facebook page, positioning himself in the “war” between the two teams regarding their record and identity.
Concretely, the man who won the elections to Bucharest City Hall launched a “sting” at Gigi Becali's club in June 2022, on the day when CSA celebrates its 75th anniversary, being clear which team it supports.
“That team from Berceni is not Steaua”
In office at the Sector 6 City Hall and at that time, Ciucu clearly positioned himself in the online environment, showing his support for the team from Ghencea.
“Happy birthday, Steaua Bucharest! We are proud to have you in #Sectorul6! 75 years of performance! Congratulations to the table tennis team, recently national champions! Reach out to the community, come to our schools and look for future champions.
Permanently open the stadium, it must become a landmark in Camp Road again! PS That team from Berceni is not Steaua“, wrote Ciprian Ciucu on Facebook, three years ago.
In an interview for GSP.ro, Ciprian Ciucu promised an Olympic pool that Olympic champion David Popovici has been asking for for a long time:
“Over time there were different plans that did not materialize. Today, such an investment objective is not under the powers of a town hall like the Capital City Hall, but I believe that such a project is feasible. As Mayor General I will identify the land and create an Olympic pool“.
Stupid, embarrassing result
Among those who ran for the position of general mayor of Bucharest was a football player, Gigi Nețoiu, former manager or investor at Rocar, Craiova University, Dinamo and FC Voluntari.
The nicknamed “Commander” obtained a minuscule number of votes, far below that of a candidate who withdrew from the race a few days before the elections, Eugen Teodorovici.
After the counting of over 99% of the precincts, Nețoiu collected just over 1,000 votes, being the eighth of the 17 candidates found on the ballot. What's strange is that he doesn't beat even Eugen Teodorovici, a candidate who officially withdrew from the race 4 days before the elections!
The former Minister of Finance obtained approximately 500 more votes, although he asked the voters to direct the votes they want to give him to Daniel Băluță.
After counting 1,279 wards out of a total of 1,289, Nețoiu had 1,098 votes, and Eugen Teodorovici 1,599.
