President Karol Nawrocki informed in Polsat News that the decision on the potential Veta The windmill act will be undertaken soon. He added that he will present his own project on energy prices.

“I will bring my own project regarding energy prices, not a reduction in the distance of windmills from households,” said the president at Polsat News.

When asked when a decision will be made regarding the potential Veta, the so -called windmill act, the president announced that it would be taken soon.

“Many laws were received by the office, nearly 30 or even over 30 laws. All of my colleagues are analyzed. I also analyze them. There are specific terms from which I intend to fulfill. Then there will be the final decision which laws will sign, and which laws I will veto” – he informed.

“I will definitely implement my program, which is cheaper for electricity, so I will approach this matter in a very strict way,” he added.

Karol Nawrocki: The Prime Minister blackmails all Poles

The Wiatraków Act of the Prime Minister and the Parliamentary majority want to blackmail not so much the president as Polish women and Poles – President Karol Nawrocki emphasized on Tuesday. He announced that the decision on this act would be made soon. He intends to present an initiative regarding energy prices.

The main purpose of the so -called The windmill act is liberalizing the existing provisions regarding investment in windmills on land. The amendment tolerates the 10h principle introduced in 2016 and introduces 500 m as a minimum allowable distance between new wind turbines and residential buildings. Currently, it is 700 m. In addition to the regulations regarding the construction of wind turbines, the Act includes the extending provision introduced during the Sejm works for the fourth quarter of 2025. freezing the price of electricity for households at the level of PLN 500 per mWh net. Currently, freezing the price is valid until the end of September. The act is currently waiting for the president's decision.

Karol Nawrocki on Polsat News emphasized that in this act, in fact, it is about windmills, not the issue of lowering electricity prices. “The Prime Minister and Parliamentary most want to blackmail not so much the president himself but Poles and Poles who want to put closer to windmills,” he said.

“I do not intend to give up to such blackmail and I think that Poles are too wise nation to think that Prime Minister Donald Tusk wants to, in fact, reduce the price of electricity, as it is actually to increase the possibility of lobbying companies on our households,” the president added.

When asked if there would be a veto or not for this act, the president replied that “the decision would be made soon.” He announced that he would implement his program, which provides, among others initiative on energy prices.

Short circuit on the line with Tusk and an agreement with Kosiniak-Kamysz?
