Romania – Presidential Republic of the American model, proposes a candidate for the supreme function

Lavinia Şandru, the candidate put in the presidential elections, said on Wednesday night, that he would propose that Romania be a presidential republic by American model, arguing that otherwise things would go to the country when the president would be prime minister.
This answered a question about the first / first articles of the Constitution it would propose to be modified when it will reach Cotroceni, writes Agerpres.
“I would come up with a proposal, after a preliminary national debate, to modify the Constitution in such a way that Romania is a presidential republic according to the American model (…). When the president would be prime minister, otherwise things would go to Romania,” said Lavinia Şandru, at the debate organized by Antena 3 CNN at the Parliament Palace.
“Sure, this in parallel with a regulation in what the capacity means that the President come to answer for anything in front of the Parliament, the president has clear objectives to announce, the president must present the results every three months and, of course, if the Parliament considers that it must be suspended or can be able to do it.”
