London: Simon Mann, a well -known mercenary, died at the age of 72

Mann was one of the most famous mercenaries in the history of this profession. He was also a hero of a gigantic political scandal that shook Great Britain. He died at home because of a heart attack while exercising on a rowing machine.
Mann spent many years in African arrests and prisons, including for an attempt to carry out a coup in Equatorial Guinea. When he returned to Great Britain, he published an autobiography, which is still one of the basic sources for writers and screenwriters writing about mercenaries.
