Deloitte Romania appoints Răzvan Ungureanu to the role of Coordinating Partner of the Audit and Related Services practice

Deloitte Romania appoints Răzvan Ungureanu, Audit Partner with over 17 years of experience in the field, as Coordinating Partner of the Audit and Related Services practice, starting in December 2025, after the end of Steve Openshaw's mandate in this role.
Răzvan Ungureanu joined the Deloitte Romania team as a graduate, in 2008, and advanced through all levels, up to Partner in 2023 and, now, Coordinating Partner. Over the past 17 years, Răzvan has worked with national and international companies on various complex projects in industries such as energy and resources, consumer products, manufacturing, food and automotive. His in-depth knowledge of these economic sectors and thorough understanding of the local economic environment have made a substantial contribution to the development of the organization. In recent years, he has taken on additional responsibilities, including as quality leader in the Audit department and leader of consulting services dedicated to the energy and resources industry at Deloitte Romania, as well as team development roles, both locally and in Central Europe.
Răzvan is a member of the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA), the Body of Chartered Accountants and Accountants from Romania (CECCAR), the Chamber of Financial Auditors from Romania (CAFR) and the Public Oversight Authority of the Statutory Audit Activity (ASPAAS).
