Wizz Air announces an important change for passengers inside its new planes. The solution for more knee room

The Hungarian aviation company announces that the new fleet of Airbus A321neo aircraft will be equipped with a new model of seats.

The new Airbus A321neo planes that will be operated by Wizz Air will have a new seat model made by the Geven company, a leader in innovative solutions for aircraft seats, according to a Wizz press release.

It is the “Eva” seat model, the lightest model on the market, specially designed for narrow-body, high-density aircraft.

More knee room

According to the company's description, the “Eva” chair offers optimized ergonomics and better personal space. It features an improved backrest, made entirely of composite material, which increases the space for the knees. The chair also features a Geven-exclusive lightweight structural cushion that cleverly eliminates the need for a traditional chair base.

In addition, according to the release, the “Eva” model offers best-in-class weight-to-weight performance, helping to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Its simple and robust design ensures low operating costs and ease of maintenance. In addition, sustainability is an additional key factor of the product, helping to reduce the environmental impact and global carbon footprint.

The agreement between Wizz Air and Geven covers almost 200 sets of aircraft equipment, which means about 45,000 passenger seats.
