The government coalition decided to collect over 115 signatures for a request to refer Zbigniew Ziobro's case to the State Tribunal – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty, Speaker of the Sejm, on Wednesday.

During a press conference before the Sejm meeting, Czarzasty quoted a letter sent to him by Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek, in which he wrote that the Sejm's decision to allow PiS MP Zbigniew Ziobro to be held criminally liable does not refer “to the advisability of jointly bringing the suspect (…) to the State Tribunal to criminal and constitutional responsibility.”
Therefore – as Czarzasty added – the government coalition decided on Tuesday to collect over 115 signatures from MPs and MPs from coalition clubs on this matter. – This decision will begin the process of transferring Mr. Zbigniew Ziobro's case to the State Tribunal – he said.
When asked later about when the application could be expected, he noted that “the procedure is quite simple.” – Today there will be a meeting of the heads of the coalition clubs – they will establish the rules and the schedule, because these are their decisions. First you need a minimum of 115 signatures. These 115 signatures are sent to the Speaker of the Sejm, the Speaker of the Sejm immediately, because that's how I will do it, I will forward it to the appropriate committee and work on this matter will begin in that committee, he said.
