One person died in the fire in an apartment building in the city of LEsosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory.
As they said in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, everything happened today at about 8 o’clock in the morning:
“Things were burning on the second floor. The fire was quickly extinguished within an area of 4 square meters. 11 personnel and 4 pieces of equipment extinguished the fire; it was caused by carelessness when smoking. An elderly man died.”
To avoid such tragedies, firefighters urge residents to follow safety rules: do not smoke in bed or near flammable liquids; Place an ashtray in the smoking area, carefully extinguish cigarette butts and do not throw them from a window or balcony.
