Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology identified violations at three enterprises during the NMU regime in Krasnoyarsk

December 3 11:27

Environmental inspectors, together with the environmental prosecutor's office, inspected about 10 enterprises during the period of adverse weather conditions (AMC), which operated in Krasnoyarsk from November 29 to December 1. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Ecology of the region.

During the raids, violations were identified at three companies. Among the violations are the lack of gas purification installations and plans to reduce emissions during the NMU period, the operation of boilers with manual loading, and some enterprises are not registered with Rosprirodnadzor.

“All materials on violations that were recorded during the inspections were transferred to the prosecutor’s office to bring the perpetrators to justice – they face fines of up to 500 thousand rubles. Additionally, we will file claims in court for the dismantling of hazardous emission sources. Once again we urge entrepreneurs to switch to environmentally friendly types of heating,” noted First Deputy Minister of Ecology of the region Yulia Gumenyuk.

In addition, the regional Monitoring Center during the NMU regime intensified observations of atmospheric air. In particular, the mobile laboratory carried out sampling primarily near the objects about which residents most often received complaints. In just three days of the NMU regime, the ministry’s 24-hour hotline received 10 calls from Krasnoyarsk residents.

According to the mobile laboratory, there were no cases of significant excess of MPC at sampling points. At the same time, stationary automatic posts in Krasnoyarsk recorded several episodes of exceeding the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants: both one-time and average daily.

The Ministry of Ecology of the region reminded that you can get acquainted with the current environmental situation on the website of the regional Center for Monitoring Environmental Quality. Data from observation posts is updated every 20 minutes. You can report cases of air pollution 24 hours a day by calling the ministry’s hotline: 8-800-20-11-116.
