Athletes from Krasnoyarsk took 7 medals at the first stage of the Russian Snowboard Cross Cup, the Ministry of Sports of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported.
The competitions took place at the Oktyabrsky ski complex in the city of Labytnangi (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug) on November 30 and December 1. 54 snowboarders from 14 regions of the country participated in Stage I.
Krasnoyarsk athletes from the Winter Sports Academy won 7 medals out of 9 possible. In the men's competition, Krasnoyarsk residents took the entire podium: Alexander Atylin took gold, Daniil Dilman took silver, and Arseniy Tomin took bronze. Among women, 2 out of 3 prize places were also taken by Krasnoyarsk women: Alexandra Parshina won gold, and Kristina Paul won silver.
In the mixed races, the pairs Atylin – Paul and Tomin – Parshina took gold and silver, respectively.
