In Taimyr, a shift worker was looking for sex through an advertisement and became a victim of scammers

In Dudinka, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 38-year-old shift worker, hoping for intimate services, transferred more than 63 thousand rubles to scammers.
The man explained to the police that he had found a corresponding website on the Internet, called the number provided and made an appointment. As part of the deal, he was told to make 100% payment.
“At the request of a mysterious stranger, the victim transferred the required amount, but never received the desired service. The subscriber number from which the girl called was blocked, and attempts to contact were in vain. Then the man turned to the duty station of the Taimyr police department with a statement about the theft of 63 thousand rubles from him by fraud,” said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated regarding this fact under Part 2 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud”, a set of investigative and operational-search actions are being carried out aimed at identifying the persons involved in the commission of the crime.
