“Talking” informants for passenger safety appeared at two Krasnaya Railway stations

At the stations of the Krasnoyarsk mainline Kansk-Yeniseisky in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Askiz in Khakassia, experimental speech informants were launched, reminiscent of the rules of conduct at railway transport facilities.
The devices not only warn that a train is approaching the station, but also urge citizens to be vigilant: “Beware of the train! Do not climb onto the carriages, do not get close to the overhead wires! Save your life!
It is no coincidence that Kansk-Yeniseisky and Askiz became the first to implement Krasnaya Railways’ new safety project. At these stations, violations of the requirements for staying at railway facilities are often recorded. They are also among the longest on the highway. Thus, the Kansk-Yenisei station geographically stretches over 4 kilometers.
Now such messages are broadcast not only on passenger platforms, but also in remote areas of the Kansk-Yeniseisky and Askiz stations, including receiving and departure tracks: voice informants warn residents about the danger dozens of times a day.
In the future, it is possible to launch similar voice informants at the Yenisei and Zlobino stations within Krasnoyarsk, Ilanka, Bogotol and Sayanskaya in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In addition, near two passenger platforms of the Krasnoyarsk railway route – Railway Hospital and Studenchenskaya – special mirrors have been installed, allowing pedestrians to notice the train approaching from behind the turning section. The measure is also aimed at increasing vigilance when crossing paths.
Krasnoyarsk Railway calls on citizens to strictly follow the rules for staying at railway transport facilities.
“A train weighing several thousand tons covers a distance of over 30 meters in one second: it cannot be stopped instantly. Therefore, it is strictly forbidden to cross the tracks in front of an approaching train, cross them while wearing headphones, or take photos next to the moving train. You must not climb onto carriages or overhead contact line supports that are under a deadly voltage of 27 thousand volts,” warns KrasRussian Railways.
