In the village of Glinka of the Sharypovsky municipal district, police officers detained a 64-year-old local resident from whom they found a large batch of plant drugs.
According to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, during a search in the house of the suspect, more than 500 grams of marijuana and about 400 grams of poppy straw was seized. The man admitted that he collected wild narcotic plants behind his site for personal use and preparation of psychoactive substances.
On the fact of drug trafficking, the investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Sharypovsky” opened a criminal case under part 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The sanction of this article provides for the punishment of up to 10 years in prison. In relation to the suspect, a preventive measure in the form of a non -departure subscription and proper behavior was chosen.
