Krasnoyarsk residents complain about malfunctions in the new transport cards

December 1 10:43

Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Ilya Zaitsev explained to residents of the regional center why the new transport cards work intermittently.

The parliamentarian said that the system is now undergoing its first full working day after launch. The scale is enormous: almost 3 thousand buses throughout the region, more than 3 thousand terminals, over 1 million cards. Data on replenishments flows continuously, but during peak load hours some of the information is “downloaded” to the terminals with a delay. Because of this, there could be situations in the morning when the card is not read the first time or the payment does not go through immediately.

The deputy also noted that due to the heavy load on the system, problems may arise when replenishing the card. If you are unable to top up your card online – in the Android application, on the T-card website or in the Sber application, then you can try to do this at Russian Post branches, Telecomservice offices, and also through Platezhka terminals.

“Before lunch, isolated failures are possible – massive replenishments and nightly volumes of data are now “rolling out” to the terminals. This is temporary. The system is leveling out, and by the evening it should become more stable,” added Ilya Zaitsev.

For all questions related to the operation of transport cards, you can contact the hotline: 8 800 200-55-75. The call is free.

Let us remind you that today, December 1, a new fare payment system for public transport, SberTroika, was launched in Krasnoyarsk.
