David Miculescu, 24 years old, scorer in Farul – FCSB 1-2commented on the victory achieved by the titre champion in the 18th stage of the Superliga.
Starting at Ovidiu in the position of central attacker, David Miculescu scored in the 24th minute (video below), and at halftime, due to some pains, he was replaced by Baba Alhassan.
“The goal came very well, after scoring two games ago with Hermannstadt I managed it today as well. I'm very happy for that. I also like to play as a striker. I try to do my job as well as I can where I'm needed,” said the champion's player.
David Miculescu reveals: “Problem with adductors”
But what happened that he could not continue the match? Miculescu revealed that it is a problem with the adductor muscles, something that has been bothering him lately:
“Before the match with Petrolul, I felt an embarrassment in the adductors, I said that maybe it's something easy. I take anti-inflammatories before each match, I said that maybe I'll get over it. In Belgrade, I felt it again, but I said that I play like that. During the match, you warm up and don't feel so bad, but after the match I was always in pain.
Today the same, before the game I had a massage with a heater, I didn't feel it during the game, at first, but then I cooled down a bit and started to feel it again. We will see with the medical staff what decision we will make. Tomorrow I think I'll do some investigating to know 100% what I haveand we'll see.”
“The match in Arad, in the Cup, is coming, a very important one. We want the 3 points. Then comes the derby with Dinamo. We need to tie 2-3 victories in the championship. If there is nothing serious, as I have shot so far, I would continue to shoot.
Here, at Farul, we always had tough matches, and when they beat us and took the championship. We talked today, we remembered that match and we said let's win”, Miculescu also stated.
