Return to FCSB! The champion's player landed in Antalya, on the same plane as Rapid's new acquisition

Joyskim Dawa (29 years old), the central defender of the Romanian champion, FCSBlanded in Antalya and will be part of the squad in the training camp in Turkey, trained by Elias Charalambous. The Cameroonian landed on the same plane as Daniel Paraschivthe rival's new acquisition Rapid.

Dawa arrived from Tokyo, with a stopover in Istanbul, and upon landing at the airport in Antalya, he was greeted by the representatives of the red-blue club. With a big smile and a trolley full of luggage, the defender wished reporters in attendance a “Happy New Year” before being picked up by the champions' press officer for the trip to their training base.

Joyskim Dawa suffered a serious injury last spring, which is why he did not get to make his debut in the current competitive season. The Cameroonian defender is not included in the championship list, so he can only play in the Europa League and the Romanian Cup.

Almost two months ago, Mihai Stoica (60 years old), the president of the FCSB Administrative Council, announced that Dawa could return to the field in the Cup match with UTA Arad, played on December 3 and lost 0-3 by the red-blues. However, more than a month away, the defender is yet to return to the pitch.

Since arriving at FCSB, Joyskim Dawa has ticked off 133 official matches, scoring 12 goals and two assists, while also winning two championship titles and a Romanian Supercup. According to the specialized website Transfermarkt, the Cameroonian is quoted at 2.5 million euros, an amount reduced by 500,000 euros after the last winter update.

At international level, Dawa collected 10 caps for the Cameroon national team, which qualified for the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations. In his career, the central defender also played for FC Botoșani, Mariupol and Valmiera.
