The pies that your beloved grandmother made are considered the most delicious in the world. However, they have a serious competitor – fried buns on cottage cheese dough without yeast. They cook very quickly and are incredibly tasty. Even when cold, the dough remains fluffy and soft.
Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese 5% – 300 g;
- Sour cream – 6 tbsp. l.;
- Salt – 1 tsp;
- Sugar – 1 tsp;
- Egg – 2 pcs.;
- Flour – 450 g;
- Baking powder – 8 g;
- Butter – 50 g;
Filling:
- Green onion – 1 bunch;
- Adyghe cheese – 300 g.
In one bowl mix flour and baking powder, in another – cottage cheese, sour cream, salt and sugar. After this, add eggs to the curd mass and mix thoroughly using a hand whisk or fork. Next, gradually add the dry ingredients, knead the dough and at the very end add soft butter.
Leave the dough for 10 minutes and prepare the filling. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, finely chop the green onions and mix the ingredients in a separate container. Next, divide the dough into 12 balls, form flat cakes, lay out the filling and make pies.
After this, place the pies in a frying pan in well-heated oil and fry for 3 minutes on each side. Then place the buns on a paper towel to absorb excess oil and serve. Bon appetit!
