Student beaten by an older colleague, in a school in Suceava. Police have issued a protective order and are investigating
A student from an educational unit in the town of Vikovu de Sus, Suceava county, was beaten on Tuesday, November 25, during a break, by an older colleague. The police started an investigation.

The police of the city of Vicovu de Sus was notified by the school director, said the spokesperson of the County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) Suceava, Ionuţ Epureanu, according to Agerpres.
“From the preliminary checks carried out by the police, it was found that during this day, around 11:00 a.m., during a school break, a 14-year-old and 10-month-old 8th-grade student was assaulted by another 16-year-old 10th-grade student”said the IPJ Suceava official.
A provisional protection order was issued
The police went to the victim's home, identifying the student and his family.
The parents of the assaulted boy did not file a complaint, but were convinced to accept the medico-legal examination of the son, in order to obtain the medico-legal certificate.
Also, the risk assessment form was applied, and a provisional protection order was issued, according to Law no. 26/2024.
“At the same time, the police officers reported ex officio the commission of the crime of hitting or other violence and the disturbance of public order and peace, the case being presented to the duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Rădăuţi Court, and procedural measures will be ordered against the aggressor”said Epureanu.
The police also proceeded to inform the institutional partners, namely the Suceava County School Inspectorate, the Suceava County Center for Resources and Educational Assistance and DGASPC Suceava, for the disposition of measures in this case.
