On April 29, a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the “Sports Glory of Krasnoyarsk” competition took place in Krasnoyarsk. The winners of the annual competition were determined by the Ministry of Sports of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station received an award in the category “Patron of the Arts in the Field of Physical Culture and Sports.” This is a comprehensive assessment of the contribution of business to the development of sports in the region.

Let us remind you that this year En+ was the general partner of the international freestyle wrestling competition “Ivan Yarygin Cup” in Krasnoyarsk. More than 500 athletes from 21 countries came to the tournament.

“Assistance in holding key sporting events in the region is a strategic contribution to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and attracting the younger generation to sports. It is especially gratifying that this work found a response and was awarded such a high award as “Sports Glory of Krasnoyarsk,” noted Stanislav Legenza, director of the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Plant.

The energy and metallurgical holding En+ notes that supporting sports is one of the priority areas of the social policy of responsible business. The company plays a leading role in the sustainable development of the regions where it operates, paying attention to creating a comfortable urban environment, volunteering, ecology, healthcare, education, culture and sports.

In this area, the energy holding is engaged in the construction and modernization of sports facilities, and also holds large-scale events.
