In Krasnoyarsk, a criminal investigation has been completed against five local residents accused of organizing illegal migration.

According to the investigation, in the period from January 2024 to January 2025, the defendants organized a stable channel for the illegal legalization of foreign citizens in Russia through fictitious employment.

“The accused prepared fake employment contracts on behalf of existing individual entrepreneurs who were not aware of their criminal activities, and assisted in registering foreigners for migration. In fact, these citizens had no intention of working. As a result of illegal activities, more than 600 foreigners received permits to stay and work in Russia. For providing illegal services, the accused received from them a monetary reward from 3 to 15 thousand rubles per service,” the Investigative Committee said.

Currently, there is a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of illegal migration committed by an organized group) and Part 5 of Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of a knowingly forged document) was sent to the prosecutor's office for approval of the indictment and subsequent transfer to the court for consideration on the merits.

It is noted that during the preliminary investigation, all illegally legalized foreign citizens were brought to administrative responsibility, including their permits for the right to work were revoked, and their periods of stay and deportation from the country were reduced.
